Meet the Owner

Hi, the locals know me as Marcella. Other friends and colleagues know me as Raven. I respond to both.

I was born and raised in the Appalachian Mountains working in my family's general country store. I am the owner of Townsend Draft, LLC. Herbal medicine and natural health have been a passion of mine since 2002.

My belief in the power of natural plants and living in tune with nature developed over time. In my early twenties, I served in the military and deployed to many high-risk areas. Returning to the U.S., I found my body very sick and after many frustrating visits to the VA hospital, herbal medicine became the answer. Through this experience, I became a student of natural health training in Yoga and Ayurveda alongside a professional career working in project management. It is my passion to offer natural living products that support a healthy lifestyle to the local community.
